Biography
Originally from Blackpool on the northwest coast of England, after qualifing in dentistry at Guy’s Hospital, University of London, in 1976, Mark came to Kendrick View Dental Practice in Reading in 1978 and became a partner in 1980. Kendrick View is a long established private practice near the centre of town. There are four partners, three associates, three visiting specialists as well as four hygienists.  We have a large patient base and are highly thought of locally. www.kendrickdental.co.uk
As well as general and cosmetic dentistry he has developed considerable skills in occlusion, treating patients with problem bites and with jaw, head and neck pain related to their bite (TMD). Many local dentists now refer their TMD cases to him and he sees patients from all over the South of England..
He is well known and respected in local and national dental circles, with memberships including the British Dental Association, Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at Royal College of Surgeons, Newbury Study Group, the British Society for Occlusal Studies (BSOS) and the American Equilibration Society (AES), for whom he is the UK representative and a previous Board Director.  He has been chairman of the local section of the British Dental Association and Newbury Study Group and is currently on the committee of BSOS, organising and teaching on the joint IPSO/BSOS AOP hands-on course at his practice.
