I am a 1976 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. Following graduation, I have practiced dentistry in Scottsdale Arizona for the past 38 years. My areas of interest are restorative dentistry, temporomandibular disorders, and mild to moderate orofacial pain disorders. I completed training at the L.D. Pankey Institute in 1982, and The Dawson Center in 1989. I have been studying with Dr. Terry Tanaka since 1996. Terry sparked my interest in dental research, and it has proven to be invaluable in my daily practice. I am also very interested in evidenced based dentistry, and decision making, how it can be used, and abused in our decision making processes. In addition to my private practice, I hold a position as a part faculty member, teaching two days a week at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale Arizona. I also hold membership in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Orofacial Pain, and fellowship in the American College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International.
