Can I attend the Annual Meeting as a candidate for membership?
Answer:YES. As a candidate for membership, the Executive Council has established a special fee for attending the meeting. Once you are inducted as a member, attendance at the Annual Meeting is a benefit of your yearly dues.
Can I bring my membership application with me to the meeting?
Answer:NO. Although you can fill out an application at the meeting, you will not be considered for membership until the following year.
What if I already receive the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry?
Answer:If you already have a subscription to the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, you will receive a refund from JPD. The second year of membership will allow a choice of journals.
When can I send in my membership application?
Answer:Applications are accepted anytime during the year but candidates for membership only at the Annual Meeting in February. Once an application is received at the Central Office with proper fees, an applicant is considered a candidate for membership and receives all AES newsletters and meeting information. The deadline for all application is January 3l.
When will my membership become effective?
Answer:After your name is presented and approved at the Annual Meeting (February) your membership is effective for the fiscal year beginning May 1 - April 30.
